
Theo has 19 years experience as a business owner and entrepreneur, and over 10 years of safety management related experience, working both locally and internationally as a consultant and trainer. She also has 10 years experience working as a Paramedic, witnessing firsthand the acute affects of workplace injuries and illness. This background drives her two passions related to safety management:
Theo is a Board Certified Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) and a Certified Safety and Health Consultant (Canadian Society of Safety Engineers). She is both a Lloyds Register and a COR certified auditor providing external audits for the Manitoba Heavy Construction Association. Theo is a requested presenter to the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering, the Accident Prevention Association of Manitoba, and the Manitoba Construction Safety Association Professional Development Conferences. She is also an instructor for Red River College, Occupational Safety and Health Certificate Program.
Theo is Vice President of the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering 2008-2009, a member in good standing with Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals and sits on the AED Guidelines Committee of the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.

Grant is an extremely versatile occupational safety and health professional. He has extensive, broad-based experience in Workplace Safety and Health, Project Management, Operations, Quality Control and Environmental Management. He is a trained facilitator with a solid background in Total Quality Concepts. He is an accredited and practicing COR External Auditor, a Construction Safety Officer and a Certified Health and Safety Consultant (CHSC) accredited through the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering. Shelley brings over 12 years of working in the field as a Safety Professional. She is a graduate of the U of M Certificate Program for Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Studies. Some of her credits include:
Shelley sits on the executive board of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers, is a member in good standing with Canadian Society of Safety Engineering and The American International Hygiene Association. She has been the Chairperson for the Manitoba Building Contractor Safety Advisory Council and sat on the executive board for the Accident Prevention Association of Manitoba.
Michelle has 5 years experience as a Workplace Safety and Health Professional. She is a graduate of the University of Alberta Certificate Program for Occupational Health and Safety. Some of her credits include:
Most recently Michelle worked for a North American engineering firm as a Regional Safety and Environment Coordinator overseeing the Prairie operations where she successfully facilitated the achievement of COR Certification in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Previously Michelle worked in the oil and gas fields of Northern Alberta as a Gas Field Operator.
Some examples of Michelle’s commitment to the community include positions as Vice President and Grants coordinator for her community association, volunteer First Aid Instructor for numerous non-profit organizations, fundraiser for many charitable organizations such as Women's Emergency Shelters, the United Way and the Cancer Society. She is also a mentor and supporter of sports teams and children’s activity groups.
Michelle is a member of good standing with the Canadian Society of Safety Engineers and has completed all the requirements of achieve her Certified Health and Safety Consultant (CHSC) designation.
Rob is a veteran City of Winnipeg Paramedic and Red Cross First Aid Instructor Trainer. He is a gifted communicator and trainer and always gets rave reviews from participants in the First Aid / CPR/ AED training that he facilitates!
Linda Weaver is a highly regarded professional experienced in providing executive, administrative, operational, technical and personal care support. Her portfolio includes government and public relations, developing sustainable communities, business leadership, office management, special projects, event planning, and fund development and fundraising. She has extensive working experience in both the for profit and not-for- profit sectors.
As Office Administrator at 1 Life Workplace Safety & Health Ltd., Linda is responsible for office management relating to administration, customer satisfaction, accounts payables and receivables, and scheduling of training. In this role, Linda’s superb organizational capability, time management and communication skills are valuable assets.
Linda is also a very passionate and avid volunteer – locally, nationally and internationally. As a Donor For Life, she rolls up her sleeve every 56 days and donates a pint of blood. Since 1998, she has collected and made items to fill 1,000+ shoeboxes for distribution by Samaritan’s Purse to children aged 2-14 years in 100+ countries ravaged by war, famine, extreme poverty, disease and natural disaster. Linda is also a strong advocate for persons with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, and fundraiser for the Alzheimer Society Of Manitoba. In 2005, Linda was nominated for the 9th Annual FLARE Volunteer Awards under the category of Community & Leadership.
